Goofy Card!!

Today's share is a card made by one of my friends and also member of the Royalty Star Stampers - MaryAnn.
She made this awesome card for her husband on his birthday, once you see it you cant deny this is the coolest card!!!

This card is using several punches from Stampin Up!..

Funny story to tell about her.. about 3 years ago when I started with Stampin Up!, I invited her to my events and she came to a couple of them, she did enjoy them, but really didnt get into it a lot.. she always said she was not creative!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!!, as the time went by, I kept inviting her to my events, and she found out to enjoy it more and more, until the point that she decided to join my group.. Today MaryAnn come up with tons of ideas and in our swaps, she almost always wins the card contest!!! proof that she is super creative, she just didnt know it! ha..

So here is the sample!!! look at this card!! how can MaryAnn say that she is not creative!!...

So now you know.. you might not have realized that you are creative as well... :) so give it a try... it is always a nice surprise..

Have a nice day,
Allie.

March 2011 - Downline meeting with my upline

One of the things that I like the most is going to my upline's meeting, although she (Jennifer Cotton) is a little far away from me (1hr drive), it is always soooo worth it to go, there are always training, good ideas, and tons of inspiration.. and of course there is stamping involved!, so these meetings are really fun, I love the fact that our group has grown so much and so we get to interact with other ladies that share our love and passion for stamping.. and everyone brings so many projects to share, that by the end of the day you get out of the meeting extremely excited!..

These are the make and takes that we made yesterday!!

The first card was made by Michelle, she did awesome demonstrating this set! isn't it cure!!! love the color combination (of course is old olive and early expresso)..

The next card was demonstrated by Jennifer Cotton (my upline), she showed us a technique using the brayer on the embosing folders!! if you are in my club, we are going to be making this technique! (wink)

This last card was demonstrated by Lory, she was great!! and I have this set sitting in my craft room, but have not actually done anything with this, after seeing this card I got soooo excited and I'm sure I will making more cards with this set from the summer mini catalog.

Aren't all these cards gorgeus!! how can you not have fun at these meetings, with these great projects!! right? I know I will be making some of these for our club meeting, a lot of my ladies have been asking for male birthday cards, and definetelly these can work.. might need to change the sayings ;o)

Thanks a lot for stopping by.. hope you liked the cards..
Until soon.. Allie

I'm finally blogging!

Over the last year or so, I have been thinking about creating a blog and have a space to share with you all my passions!!, and it was until yesterday, at a meeting with other stampers that I decided to just jump at it and start my own blog, granted the meeting was about blogging, and Jennifer showed us how easy this was.. so here I am giving it a try..

While I dont really think I can do this on a daily basis, due to time constrains (full time job, MBA school, and my own Stampin Up! business) I will try to update this blog as much as possible..

I will keep updating my blog mainly with inspiring ideas of the things that I have been creating, and every now and then I will have a some news about my family or things going on in my life..

Thanks a lot for joining me in this journey..
